sendai – process part 300

SENDAI

Yves De Mey: I think there’s not that much to say about this mix. I mean this in a good way. We came up with it in the same manner Peter and I work when doing our music -separated by a bit of distance and time (different rhythms). Peter sends me tracks, I add tracks, make a first version, then send it back. Peter reshapes it, I approve and then we both decide to make it public. Listening back to it, I hear a lot of long sounds. I’m not really sure what defines or marks the start and end of a sound, but it feels like there’s a lot of stretch in what you hear.

PVH: Yves’ words sum it pretty clearly. There is not much more that I can add. Stretching definitely seems to be a theme in this mix.
